Following $16 million funding secured in 2010, eXelate expands its global footprint
NEW YORK, NY (January 25, 2011) – eXelate, the data engine powering privacy-safe audience access within the digital advertising ecosystem, today announced that European behavioral targeting pioneer Alain Sanjaume has joined the company as General Manager, Operations, United Kingdom and France. In this capacity, Alain will spearhead eXelate’s expansion into key European markets, leading with the UK and France, where he will lead business development.
eXelate enables publishers to leverage audience data by powering data transactions through a private or exchange marketplace. eXelate’s platform provides scalable data sales infrastructure, centralizes consumer privacy functions, and fosters additional revenue opportunities for publishers looking to maximize profit from proprietary audience interactions.
Based on his vast experience and European industry knowledge, Alain will be managing eXelate’s expansion into Europe in conjunction with eXelate’s business development and publisher relations teams. Presently, Alain is focusing on cultivating relationships with leading UK and French publishers, portals, ad agencies, networks and exchanges. These efforts, coupled with eXelate’s existing relationships will cement the company’s strong digital footprint, and enable existing and new partners to grow internationally with eXelate.

When Espotting merged with FindWhat.com and later became MIVA, Alain became Associate Director, Europe, for the company. In addition, Alain has written a book about behavioral targeting, “Marketing Comportemental”, and is one of the leading bloggers covering behavioral targeting on his Ciblarge Comportemenal blog.
